The B90 is a Professional electronic lock with a simple and minimal design.

Its main feature lies down on the mechanical redundancy: Hidden under the knob, a keyhole can be found: This mechanical redundancy gives the possibility to open the lock in case the access code is forgotten.

The Combi B90 by Kaba Mauer has been certified and tested by VdS and ECB-S, respectively in Class 2 and Class B.

Key Facts

The user interface cannot be more simple, being composed by a simple and basic keypad and a rotary handle.

Below the rotary handle, a hidden keyhole can be exposed and the lock can be opened with the double bitted key, overriding the need for the numeric code.

It is also possible, the access to the Audit function: Using a PC software the user can get a full report of the last 200 entries.

If you are having the issue that you are typing in your code, but the safe will not open, this means that in 95% of the cases, a battery change will solve the issue. In general, this is always the first step to do when troubleshooting your lock.

Safe Locks: What are the lock requirements for each burglary grade?

Safe locks are classified in ascending security classes going from A through D as per EN-1300 Regulation.

Additionally, starting at security grade IV, safes and vaults must contain 2 separate locks and even 3 for grades XI and higher.

Be aware that there are no wiring or piping in the location you want to install the safe.  

Follow these steps to bolt your safe:

You can easily bolt your safe following 8 simple steps.

1. Place the safe onto its final position.
   2. Mark the spot on the floor or the wall where the bolting holes are located.
   3. Move the safe aside.
   4. Make sure you use the right drill for the material and an appropriately sized drill bit.
   5. Drill holes into the designated marks.
   6. Reposition the safe over the mounting hole.
   7. Insert the bolt through the inside of the safe into the hole.
   8. Tighten up the nut of the bolt.
